The Family Relief Program

The Family Relief Program is under the umbrella of Lanark Community Programs, a part of Lanark Health and Community Services.

  • We provide respite care to families who reside in Lanark County who care for a child or adult with a developmental or physical disability.
  • We co-ordinate in-home/out-of-home and community integrated relief.
  • We provide summer programs and recreational year-round programs for youths and adults.

Perth Day Camp ...  St. John’s Elementary School,  Perth-limited space available

Perth Youth Camp ... St. John’s Catholic High School,  Perth- limited space available

Autism Camp  ... Smiths Falls Respite House- FULL NO SPACE AVAILABLE

Day Camps offer a variety of activities such as swimming, sports, arts and crafts, outdoor play, games, dances, and much more. Activities are adapted to the age and ability of each individual. Day Trips are also available during camp. These may include trips to the museums, skateboarding parks, going to the beach, bowling, lunch and a movie, miniature golf and much more. Our camps have a low camper-to-staff ratio which provides educational and recreational experiences which promotes social, emotional and physical growth.

Youth Camps will help campers develop confidence, recognize the benefits of good choices.  It will promote character values such as honesty, concern for others, responsibility and the courage to do one’s best!  Activities will include swimming, camping, outdoor play, sports, lifeskills and job preparation.

   Summer Camp meets 9am – 3pm
